I am amazed with this set.
First, the smell is incredible. I don't use perfumes but I do prefer a product that has a scent that will hang around. This scent is herbal and not offensive but it is strong and does linger. I have gotten compliments about how nice it smells. If you don't like strong smelling shampoo and conditioner there are plenty of bars out there for you but this might not be one of them! I hated how the scent of other bars would not last in my hair. I thought only liquid would get me the results I was looking for so these bars have been a game changer for me.
Second, the lather on the shampoo bar is GREAT. I rub it on my scalp two or three times and that is enough to have handfuls of bubbles. Seriously. With that, my hair has not felt this clean and soft in quite a while! It has been a challenge to find something that was able to handle the delicate balance of my hair. I have a greasy scalp but dry ends. Anything too stripping would result in more oil in my hair and also more breakage and frizz. My hair is noticeably less frizzy and SO SHINY! I have natural blonde hair and this product doesn't cake to my strands so my hair is bright. It is gentle enough that I can use it every day. The conditioner bar has been fine on it's own, but I like it better in combination with the Argon Milk leave-in conditioner. That smells like vanilla so they work really well together :)
Finally, and I think most importantly, I no longer have any scalp irritation, itchiness, or hair loss. My scalp used to be sensitive to the touch. It would hurt to brush my hair as I struggled with seborrheic dermatitis. My hair was falling out and truthfully looked very rough. Products would exacerbate my issues so all the claims of these bars being soothing and healing were the main reason I gave them a chance. It is night and day since I started using these a few weeks ago. I am genuinely more confident going out since I do not have any flakes in my hair and there isn't any crazy grease build up.
