When you push a pump, there are 2 liquid (cream) come out from the nozzle, and you mix them in a bowl.
So, it's somewhat like a hair color.
It has some smell I'm not used to, but it goes away in a few days. it's not a chemilcal smell, more like a exotic herbal scent.
It colors my white hair to light brown, a bit orange-sh. When I used a light-colored bath towel to dry my hair the next day, the color transfered to the towel.
With 3 pumps, it covered my midium bob length-hair. I see it's very economical. It didn't damage my hair at all which was the main reason I tried this product.
I've only used it once, but I'm happy with the product so far.
It's been 2 weeks since my first use, and the color on hair hasn't washed away. But I wash my hair only 2-3 a week.
Unlike regular shampoo, you have to be careful not to stain your bathroom, though.

Better than expected!
I loved the idea of using a shampoo that I could put in and rinse out without all of the hassle of dying my hair, so I ordered the dark brown bottle. It ended up being too light of a brown for me (I have such dark brown hair that it's almost black), so then I ordered the black bottle and tried that, but then my hair was too black. So I now use 2 pumps of brown with one pump of black, and it seems to be pretty close to my original hair color. Since I keep my hair short and am going gray, I don't have to pay for a bunch of hair dye kits anymore. This was the perfect solution! One of my only concerns was that the box says that it won't dye your skin, and my forehead temporarily was dark. I used a makeup remover wipe, and most of it came off. And I contacted the manufacturer and was told for future hair dyes, I should rub a bunch of lotion on my skin around my hair line so it doesn't dye my skin if some drips off my hair. I've done that twice and it seems to prevent skin discoloration. I love that so many natural ingredients are used in the product vs. harsh chemicals. In my picture, you can kind of see one side of my hair (near my eyes) that I didn't put enough dye and it still shows some gray, but I'm thankful that I won't have to buy another kit to fix issues like that - I can just put some of the shampoo on that spot and re-do it in about 5 minutes! Overall, I'm satisfied with this alternative to traditional hair dyes, and I give it 5 stars!

Make no mistake, this is not shampoo! It is hair color and developer that comes in a shampoo bottle and mixes together as it dispenses. This is NOT the same as something like overtone! The second ingredient is hydrogen peroxide, in the developer! So this is box dye, not shampoo. But on the upside it’s awesome! I put it on dry hair as I would overtone or Keracolor, and it actually does lather which is weird, but I left it on for about 10 minutes, and to my surprise it came out even, shiny and natural, and did cover my grays! So, buyer beware, it’s a very low volume color depositing only developer, but it is chemical developer indeed . This is NOT shampoo and is not semi permanent, meaning once you put it on you will have a VERY hard time getting it out, and this is VERY dark, so buyer beware! On the other hand, I’ve never had a box dye turn out so good and I’m definitely buying more for the future, lol! My hair is naturally about level 5, I’d estimate this darkened it to about level 4.
